Our glassware possesses excellent thermal properties. It absorbs the cold of the drink less quickly than thick-walled crystal glass, keeping your champagne or sparkling wine pleasantly cool and effervescent for longer. The shape of the bowl is designed to concentrate the aromas while the bubbles rise gently.

Are these glasses also suitable for sparkling wine and Prosecco?

Absolutely. The shape of our glasses is ideal for preserving the bubbles (carbonation) of Champagne, Crémant, Cava, sparkling wine or Prosecco for a long time and for optimally directing the aromas to the nose.

Why are the glasses dishwasher safe?

All casa vitri glasses are dishwasher safe . We use borosilicate glass 3.3, a high-performance material from laboratory technology. It is extremely resistant to chemical influences and heat. Unlike conventional crystal glass, it does not become cloudy in the dishwasher.

Ideally, place your glasses in the top rack of the dishwasher and use the glass holder if your dishwasher has one. We recommend, of course, positioning the glasses so they don't touch other items to prevent damage.

For best long-term care and to optimize energy efficiency, we recommend programs in the range of 50°C to 60°C (e.g. Eco program).

Just make sure you use appropriate dishwasher detergent if you have hard water.
If slight cloudiness is caused by limescale deposits, you can easily remove them with vinegar or citric acid.
