Eckhard Martin
Master glassblower since 1975
With over 50 years of experience, Eckhard combines traditional craftsmanship with timeless design. His works are testaments to German glassblowing artistry.
His philosophy: "Every glass has a soul. You just have to be still enough to hear it." This mindfulness is reflected in each of his works, from the first touch to the final signature.
The material: borosilicate & fire
Our handmade and mouth-blown glasses are made from colorless borosilicate glass. It is particularly heat-resistant and less sensitive to temperature fluctuations.
Nevertheless, the glass naturally becomes liquid and must be processed very precisely. Everything is formed freehand, without molds or machines.
At the gas burner, the glassblower heats the glass to over 1,000 °C with an open flame. Through delicate rotating movements, the glass becomes a malleable material, the basis for our mouth-blown glass objects.

Grit Müller-Sachs
Grit Müller-Sachs kommt aus Lauscha in Thüringen, dem Geburtsort der deutschen Glaskunst. Ihre Familie bläst seit 1597 Glas, Grit führt diese Tradition in der 16. Generation fort.
Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Glasgestalterin und dem Meistertitel im Kunstglasblasen fertigt sie heute in ihrer eigenen Werkstatt Unikate und Kleinserien. Für casa vitri entstehen in ihren Händen unsere Glasdrachen.
Grits Material: Weichglas & Flamme
Grit arbeitet mit Weichglas, einem Material, das sich durch seine leuchtende Farbvielfalt und weiche Formbarkeit auszeichnet. Am Brenner bringt sie das Glas in Form, Stück für Stück, jedes ein Unikat.
